BACKGROUND
UNICA MI is a company founded in 2007 specialized in the field of renewable energies and represents major International Investors in Ukraine.
Recruitment will be on the basis of individually submitted applications corresponding to the enclosed job description, and will be directly hired and remunerated by UNICA MI.
The initial duration of the assignment will be up to one year; upon satisfactory performance of duties, the assignment will be extended.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Under delegated authority of the General Director of UNICAMI, the Director of Office is responsible for the oversight and day-to-day management of the office. The Director assumes overall responsibility and accountability for, and coordination of, the operational and administrative activities of UNICA MI. In the absence of the General Director he/she will lead and deputize for the General Director. His/her main functions shall be:
• To coordinate UNICA MI operations, communication, reporting and its day-to-day management as far as these have been delegated;
• To represent the General Director in his functions during his absence and within the framework of UNICA MI’s activities ;
• To represent and promote UNICA MI at different levels in Ukraine;
• To support the General Director in the planning and development of UNICA MI;
• To ensure timely and appropriate reporting, including regular operational reporting on the UNICA MI’s work as well as project reporting (progress and financial reports)
• To represent UNICA MI at senior level meetings;
• To liaise closely with Customs service of Ukraine;
• To oversee shipment, customs clearance and delivery of good to clients;
• To identify suppliers in Ukraine;
• To analyze Ukrainian markets for specific goods required by clients.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
• University degree in Economics, Engineering or Business Administration;
• At least 5 years of operational experience in a management positions in business administration or customs management or banking sector or import/export, preferably in a multinational environment;
• Relevant operational experience in trading, active in the field of import/export of goods in the field of agriculture, natural resources or manufactured goods.
• Very good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Russian and/or Ukrainian. Italian will be an asset but not required;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and management skills;
• Excellent reporting and writing skills;
• Business oriented personality with a high spirit of initiative.
